The most beautiful turtles to maintain are albino Red Eared Sliders. One in a million, their chances of surviving in the wild are slim. Fortunately, a few breeders create them so that keepers can value and enjoy them.

One of the rare turtle species that are truly hatched according to gender and temperature is the albino Red Eared Slider. Ours has gotten off to a good start and is through the challenging early stages. Albinos Red Ears act similarly to regular Red Eared Sliders and have the same husbandry needs, which are as follows:

Red Eared Sliders, the most popular turtle in the world, are great beginner turtles and adults will light up outdoor ponds in almost all US temperate zones. They thrive when kept alongside the majority of other species and do well in tanks, aquatic and land setups.

They frequently tan and may even stack up on top of one another to get the greatest tan. In community settings, the red ears example frequently hastens the taming of other animals. Red ears are omnivorous, consuming pellets, the majority of greens, insects, fish, mollusks, and other things.

*Please take note that Virginia and Florida prohibit the public from owning Red Eared Sliders, so we are unable to ship standard colored Red Eared Sliders to those states. The many color morphs, such as Ghost Red Ears, Albino Red Ears, and Hypo/Pastel Red Ears, do have a particular exception for Florida; all of which can be transported to Florida destinations.

The uncommon and stunning Albino Red-Eared Slider turtle is very magnificent! One in 10,000 chances exist that a Red-Eared Slider will be albino. One of the most famous pet turtles on Earth and one of the most popular in America is the Red-Eared Slider! These Red-Eared Sliders will flourish in an outdoor pond or tank collection!

Albino Turtle Feeding

It’s crucial to maintain a balanced diet for your turtle. We advise feeding your turtle with a range of products. They will require a variety of plant-based things because they are omnivores. To make sure they are getting the proper quantity of nourishment, we advise purchasing commercial turtle pellets.

A diversity of fresh plant materials, sources of protein, and a balanced diet are all necessary. Using a feeding tank might be simpler. They might eat sloppily. Along with dark green veggies or other non-toxic aquatic plants like water lettuce or anacharis, this should be fed to fish.

Sliced veggies like carrots or squash are also available for them to eat. These kinds of turtles frequently consume earthworms or goldfish as rewards.

Always have access to clean, chlorine-free water for drinking. You should always feed your turtle each day. Your turtle will often need to be fed while it is submerged in water.
